CHERRYTECH MAGLOCK BRACKETS Many technicians try to utilise the Wrong mounting bracket when installing maglocks, The most common mistake is trying to fit the maglock onto a section of the Z-bracket As the Z-bracket is only intended to mount the armature [keeper/striker] plate, it is not shown on this page to avoid confusion.

Features

  • The L38 bracket is used to set the lock back on doors whose edge is flush with the edge of the door jamb
  • The lock mounts underneath in 1 of 3 positions to make space for the armature plate
  • The bracket screws into the side of the door jamb
  • It is normal to order the side cable version of the maglock, rather than the end cable version.
