Overview

This car DC adapter is designed to power most current notebooks that require DC input from 15V to 24V (if in doubt, consult the power requirement of your equipment in the manual). The adapter is overload and short circuit protected.

Features

  • OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Voltage Selection :
    • Determine proper output voltage setting
    • Check rating plate and the voltage indication marked on your computer
    • You may find the voltage in your AC DC adaptor or in the computer manual
    • Set the voltage switch on the body of the adaptor in the proper voltage Insert adaptor output plug in your computer
    • Insert adaptor into the vehicle lighter socket. Green LED will light to indicate proper operation
    • If LED fails to light,see FUSE REPLACEMENT Turn on the computer. If it does not operate, disconnect immediately and review the above steps
  • FUSE REPLACEMENT :
    • To check or replace the fuse, rotate the plastic tip of the lighter plug counterclockwise. Visually inspect the fuse element. If it is blown or you are uncertain, replace the fuse (15A).

  • CAUTION :
    • For 12V DC car use only
    • Ensure the voltage & polarity are correct as continuous excess voltage or false polariry could damage your computer.
    • Do not use this adaptor with appliances that exceed 120W power consumption
    • Do not attempt to open this unit
    • Remove it from the vehicle lighter socket when not in use
    • Always turn your computer off before you (dis)connect the car adaptor
    • Start the car engine before plugging in the car adaptor.
