E&OE Overview Industrial Protocol Gateway The USR-PX511 is an advanced protocol converter from the USR-PX series, specializing in converting CANopen Master protocols to Modbus TCP Master/Slave or Modbus RTU Master/Slave protocols . The device acts as a Host (Master) in a CANopen network, allowing it to collect and exchange data with CANopen Slave devices (servo drives, sensors, I/O systems) and share this data with Modbus-enabled PLC or SCADA systems. It provides high-performance, closed-loop communication. Multifunctional interface and industrial durability The USR-PX511 converter features a CAN port (screw-type connector), one standard RJ4 Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps), and an RS485 serial interface (terminal block). Like other models in the series, it features enhanced industrial durability with EMC Level 3 protection (ESD, Surge, EFT) and galvanic isolation for all interfaces and power supply. Its aluminum housing and wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C ensure reliability in the harshest operating environments. Easy setup and power supply The CANopen device (object dictionary) is configured and managed using dedicated PC software and an EDS file. The device is powered by a wide voltage range of 9-36V DC via a safe, pluggable screw connector (terminal block) with reverse polarity protection. DIN rail mounting and compact dimensions (same as the PX520/PX530) facilitate quick integration into control cabinets.
