Overview

The performance of this module is stable and measures distance accurately. The module is of high precision, the blind area is very near (2cm).

The Ultrasonic sensor module is a convenient way for measuring distances from objects. This module has a lot of applications such as parking sensors, obstacle and terrain monitoring systems, industrial distance measurements, etc. It has a stable performance and high accuracy ranging from 2cm to 450cm.

The module sends an ultrasonic signal, eight pulses of 40kHz square wave from the transmitter; the echo is then picked up by the receiver and outputs a waveform with a time period proportional to the distance. The connected microcontroller accepts the signal and performs necessary processing.

  • The performance of this module is stable, measure distance of it is accurate. When it comes to foreign SRF05, SRF02 and other ultrasonic ranging modules, it is precision. The module is of high precision, the blind area (2cm) is very near, the stable ranging is powerful base with which the product go into the market successfully.

  • Connection mode : VCC, trig (control end), echo (receiving end), GND
  • Using method : A control port send a high level more than 10US, at this time you can be waiting for the high level output at the receiving port. Once there is a output, the timer can be opened, when the port become low level you can read the timer value. This point is the time of this ranging, you can calculate the distance. So by cycle detection, you can get your mobile measurement value
  • Module working principle :
    • Use IO trigger ranging is used and give a high signal of at least 10us.
    • The module automatically sends 8 40KHz Fang Bo and automatically detect whether a signal is returned.
    • If a signal is returned, a high level is output via a IO, the last time of the high level the time from transmitting to returning. The test distance = (high level time * sound velocity (340M/S)) / 2
