E&OE Overview The USR-CAN315 is an industrial protocol converter that allows you to connect a CAN FD bus to an Ethernet network (10/100 Mbps) or other network devices. The device supports CAN 2.0A/2.0B and CAN FD standards , enabling the integration of both traditional and modern CAN devices in a single environment. Operating modes The USR-CAN315 offers five operating modes that provide maximum flexibility in transmitting and processing data between the CAN FD bus and Ethernet or Modbus systems: transparent conversion transparent conversion with ID standard mode Modbus protocol conversion custom conversion The device is compact and easy to mount on a DIN rail, measuring 110 x 27 x 76.1 mm . Powered by a 9–36 V DC supply (12 V 1 A recommended), it features one CAN FD port compliant with CAN 2.0A/2.0B and a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 network port with auto-adaptive connectivity. The USR-CAN315 operates in a wide temperature range of -40–85 °C and humidity up to 95% RH. Built-in filtering, frame packetization, and Modbus TCP support ensure flexible and secure data transmission in demanding industrial environments.
