Overview

The Sonoff Dongle‑PMG24 – officially named “Zigbee/Thread USB Dongle Plus MG24” – is one of Sonoff’s most advanced USB dongle solutions, offering exceptional performance and versatility. Powered by a high-performance EFR32MG24 SoC with 1536 KB Flash and 256 KB RAM, it provides significantly more resources compared to previous models. This enables faster automation response times and more stable sub-device management.

The device comes pre-flashed with Zigbee coordinator firmware but can be easily reflashed into other roles using the SONOFF Dongle Flasher web tool – such as a Zigbee router, OpenThread RCP, or even a MultiPAN device – all in under one minute. The package includes a 1 m USB extension cable, allowing flexible placement and reduced interference.

Its aluminum alloy casing is durable, corrosion-resistant, and pressure-resistant, offering a sleek and modern appearance. The built-in 3 dBi antenna can be optimized up to 4.5 dBi, enabling a range of up to 200 meters in open space.
