Industrial Protocol Gateway

The USR-PX530 is an advanced industrial protocol converter from the USR-PX series, specializing in converting Profinet Slave protocols to Modbus RTU/TCP Master or Slave protocols . The device enables the integration of existing Modbus devices (e.g., sensors, controllers, meters) into high-speed Profinet control networks. It provides stable operation and low latency, making it an ideal solution for introducing Modbus devices into Profinet-enabled PLC infrastructures.

Multifunctional interface and industrial durability

The USR-PX530 converter features two Profinet slave ports with built-in switching functionality, one standard RJ45 Ethernet port , and an RS485 serial interface (terminal block). The device meets industry standards for immunity, including EMC National Standard 3B protection , and a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C . The aluminum housing and DIN rail mounting ensure reliability in demanding environments.

Easy setup and system performance

The device operates as a Profinet slave and is configured using a GSDML file and dedicated PC software. It has a built-in 120 Ω terminal resistor for RS485 , which is software-configurable. It supports a wide DC voltage range of 9-36V and is equipped with reverse power protection. The USR-PX530 is an effective tool for edge data collection and processing in Profinet applications.
