FR/453 is filler extended two part Polyurethane Resin

Potlife / 25°C : 30 Minutes
Geltime / 25°C : 35 — 40 Minutes
Application : By casting
Setting Time : 1 — 1 1/4 Hours
Exotherm (500ml volume) : Maximum 60°C
Adhesion : To PVC, Aluminium, Lead, Copper : Very good ; To Cleaned, Flamed Polyethylene: Good
Flashpoint : > 200°C
Heat Resistance : Maximum 80°C
Hardness (cured 24h / 25°C) : Shore D: 80 — 85
Dielectric Strength : 21 kV/mm
Resistance :
- To Water, Oil, diluted Acids, Alkaline : Very good
- Solvents: Aromatic I Aliphatic Hydrocarbons : Good
- Esters, Ketons, Chlorinated Hydrocarbons : Not resistant
Hydrolytic Stability : Excellent
Water Absorption : (After 24 hour immersion in distilled water): 0.3 %
Storage Stability : 12 Months stored under dry and cool conditions in sealed packaging
Toxicity : Very low toxicity at ambient temperatures. However, gloves must be worn and adequate ventilation must be ensured during application.
