Installation notes

  • Commission modules to a similar state of charge before paralleling.
  • Use DC cables and protection rated for the bank’s continuous current and fault levels.
  • Provide ventilation space as per the datasheet and avoid heat sources.
  • Ensure correct earthing and bonding of racks and enclosures.
  • This product must be installed by a qualified electrician/technician. All installations must adhere to local wiring regulations and standards. SegenSolar will not be held liable for any product malfunctions as a result of incorrectly installed systems.

Technical notes

  • Do not mix battery types in one stack or group, keep UF with UF, UP with UP.
  • Where possible keep modules within similar state of charge before paralleling.
  • Peak values are time-limited and temperature-dependent, design for continuous current.
  • NOTE: The PYLON-UF5000 battery is not compatible with the PYLON-UP5000, PYLON-US3000C, PYLON-US2000C.
