CAT7 SSTP (SS / double shielded with Braiding + all pairs individually shielded) are used for high bandwidth networks >= 10Gbit/s and for use with any HDMI Extender over CAT5e / CAT6 / CAT7 up to 10.8Gbit/s bandwidth. Besides the foil shield, the twisting of the pairs and number of turns per inch causes RF shielding and protects from crosstalk. Cat7 cable standard has been created to allow 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100m of copper cabling . Cat 7 cable is rated for transmission frequencies of up to 600 MHz.
